Calix range of compact FCH Engine Heaters are manufactured for longevity, quality and ease of installation. The FCH is a hose mounted engine block heater with an integrated circulation pump that spreads the heat faster and more evenly in the engine, making it more efficient.

The FCH Engine Heater is easier to install compared to a heater with a separate circulation pump as the FCH is more flexible in its positioning. An industry leading 3-year warranty is offered on all Calix products.

The FCH Engine Heater uses a PTC heating element which, by design, are self-limiting and therefore no temperature regulation thermostat, or fail-safe thermostat are required to control an overtemperature situation. However, as the PTC engine heater does not have a thermostat to switch at a pre-determined temperature the actual maximum water temperature obtainable car vary throughout the year as ambient temperature changes.

The full calix range of engine & block heaters are designed as a modular system where the end user can build a complete system from the various components based on their specific requirements, therefore this heater is supplied as a bare bones unit with just the following components:

Extension cables, wall socket cables, timers, battery chargers, pumps etc are available to buy separately.
